Changes Sky are making:
Sky have been working hard to ensure they provide the best possible service for their customers, so they can make the most of their broadband experience.
Sky Broadband Connect is significantly slower than their other broadband products and does not support a good On Demand experience.
Therefore, Sky have taken the decision to no longer sell Sky Broadband Connect to new customers. This change will apply to all routes to market and take place from Tuesday 6 December 2016.
If you complete an availability check and no broadband products are returned, this indicates the customer lives in a non-Sky Network area, where previously Sky Broadband Connect would have been available. In this instance, the customer should be informed Sky are unable to provide a broadband service.
Please note that if customers want to buy standalone Talk and Line Rental from Sky, they should be informed that they will be unable to purchase broadband from another provider.
